1. Available payment preferences
The current website booking form offers the following payment preferences:
Credit card
Select credit card as your preferred payment method. Any required card authorization is completed separately through an approved payment process.
Debit card
Debit cards may be accepted subject to available funds, identity verification, deposit requirements, and any conditions disclosed before pickup.
Cash App
Cash App is available with an additional 3% fee calculated by the booking system on the estimated rental total.
Zelle
Zelle may be selected as a payment preference. Use only payment instructions confirmed directly by RentMe Orlando.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay may be selected as a payment preference, subject to device, account, and payment-acceptance availability.
2. When payment occurs
Submitting the online booking form records your payment preference, but the website does not currently collect a complete card number or complete a card charge. RentMe Orlando will provide or confirm payment instructions and any required authorization before or at vehicle pickup.
A booking request, reference number, or displayed estimate does not guarantee payment approval or vehicle availability. Do not send payment until the recipient and instructions have been verified as belonging to RentMe Orlando.
3. Estimated and final amounts
The website estimate is based on rental duration, the selected vehicle’s daily rate, insurance selection, ride-share use, security deposit, and any applicable payment-method fee.
- Cash App adds a 3% fee to the estimated total.
- No separate credit-card fee is currently added by the website calculator.
- Changing dates, vehicle class, insurance, intended use, or other booking details may change the amount.
- The final rental agreement and confirmed payment instructions control the amount due.
4. Refundable security deposit
The required base security deposit depends on the selected vehicle class and may range from $200 to $600. If the vehicle will be driven outside Florida, the applicable base deposit is doubled.
The security deposit is separate from the rental charge and is subject to the final rental agreement. Refund timing and permitted deductions may depend on the return inspection, unpaid charges, vehicle condition, tolls, citations, fuel, mileage, damage, cleaning, missing property, and the payment provider.
5. Payment security
- Verify payment instructions directly with RentMe Orlando.
- Do not email full card numbers, security codes, PINs, passwords, or identification images.
- Do not send money to an account that has not been confirmed through an official RentMe Orlando communication.
- Contact us immediately if a payment request appears unusual or inconsistent.
6. Refunds and reversals
Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method when practical. Processing time depends on the payment service or financial institution. Security-deposit returns may begin only after the vehicle is returned and applicable charges are assessed.
Cancellation-related refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy. Charge disputes do not replace the requirement to return a vehicle or pay amounts properly due under the rental agreement.
